For People and Nature Armenian Association (FPAN) is an environmental organization dedicated to conserving nature while supporting the sustainable development of communities.
FPAN builds on and continues the legacy of environmental programs implemented in Armenia for over 15 years by NABU. Based on this experience, FPAN works with local communities, international partners, and the private sector to develop effective and long-term solutions for the benefit of both people and nature.
WHAT WE DO
At FPAN, we design and implement initiatives that create tangible environmental and social impact across Armenia.
We focus on the following key areas:
- Supporting sustainable rural development by strengthening local communities and creating new economic opportunities
- Developing nature-based tourism initiatives that connect people with Armenia’s unique landscapes while ensuring the responsible use of natural resources
- Conserving biodiversity and natural ecosystems through practical actions and long-term environmental programs
- Engaging businesses in environmental action by creating meaningful ESG opportunities and corporate volunteering initiatives
