About the Meeting
The information meeting is intended for residents of beneficiary rural settlements in the Vayk and Jermuk communities, farmers, small businesses, women, young people, displaced persons, local organizations, and anyone interested in environmental and economic development topics.
During the meeting, participants will receive practical information on sustainable agriculture, soil and water resource conservation, biodiversity, renewable energy, and nature-friendly income-generating opportunities.
Meeting participants will have the opportunity to receive high-value berry crop seedlings – up to a maximum of 10 per participant.
What Topics Will Be Presented
Sustainable and Climate-Resilient Agriculture
Soil conservation, crop diversification, organic farming, and climate risk reduction.
Biodiversity Conservation
Specially protected nature areas, buffer zones, and the role of communities in nature conservation.
Sustainable Use of Water and Natural Resources
Water conservation, efficient irrigation, soil fertility preservation, and responsible resource management.
Renewable Energy Solutions
The use of solar energy and other energy-saving solutions in rural households and small businesses.
Environmental Income Opportunities
Rural tourism, local products, processing, beekeeping, medicinal herbs, and other green initiatives.
Participation Opportunities
Upcoming project training sessions, consultation meetings, community activities, and support mechanisms.
Purpose of the Meeting
To provide participants with practical knowledge, present solutions applicable to local conditions, and support the development of new environmental and economic initiatives in the communities.

The meeting is open to residents of the project's communities, farmers, cooperatives, small enterprises, women and young people, representatives of displaced families, state and community institutions, civil society organizations, and other individuals interested in the topic.

Funding and Implementation
The project was initiated by the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union of Germany (NABU)and is being implemented with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and AKBA Bank .
In Armenia, the project is implemented by the Armenian Association "For the Sake of Humanity and Nature" (FPAN) and the "Eco-Glob" environmental NGO .
