In today’s world, every person’s behavior has a direct impact on the environment. To build a responsible and sustainable lifestyle, environmental awareness must begin at a young age.
As part of the FPAN “Rural Tourism Development” program, an educational series titled “My Eco Footprint” is being implemented to raise students’ awareness about their daily habits and their impact on nature.
📌 The main objectives of the seminar are:
To explain in a simple and accessible way what an “ecological footprint” means,
To discuss practical everyday steps such as saving water and electricity, recycling, and reusing,
To highlight the harm caused by plastic waste to biodiversity and suggest alternatives,
To develop environmental responsibility through interactive games and group discussions.
During the seminar, students participate in small group activities, Q&A sessions, and role-play games, helping them understand how small changes in behavior can lead to big improvements in the environment.
📎 This initiative is ongoing. The program also aims to establish student-led eco-clubs where children can implement their own environmental projects at school, at home, or in their communities.
